William Price is CEO of D3P Global. He works on regulation, investment, risk and social policy in financial services with a focus on pension and retirement income. Previously he worked for the World Bank, UK Treasury, UK Pension Regulator, and in collaboration with the OECD and International Organization of Pension Supervisors. He works with a range of developed and developing country governments in all regions globally, as well as with international organizations such as the IMF, World Bank, UNDP, UNCDF and Interamerican Development Bank.
He has published widely, including as contributing editor for “Saving the Next Billion from Old Age Poverty”; as co-created of Outcomes Based Regulation and Supervision; and on the role of Variable Annuities to improve retirement income, including illustrating its application for Malaysia and India. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, an Ambassador for the Transparency Taskforce and on the Advisory Board of the Toronto Centre Insurance and Pension Program. His first degree is from Oxford University and he has a Masters in Economics from University College London.
