Gautam Bhardwaj is a co-founder of pinBox Solutions, a global social pensionTech supporting digital micro-pension inclusion across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Over the last 30 years, he has worked with governments, regulators, and financial institutions across Asia and Africa to help develop pension solutions for non-salaried workers. He was a co-architect of India’s National Pension System (40M+ subscribers, $150B AUM) and led the design and launch of Rwanda’s Ejo Heza LTSS (4M+ savers). Previously, he founded a micro-pension social enterprise supporting 2.5M self-employed women in India to save for their old age. Gautam has led several World Bank, ADB, UNCDF, and UKAID funded studies and served on government and regulatory committees on pension, tax and financial sector reforms
